I would like to view this movie either in a theater or as a video rental, but cannot find the film listed anywhere.
Has it found a distributor yet?

Apparently it will be in theaters in August. Probably just a limited release.

As a psychologist, I am quite interested in watching this. Unfortunately, it is not playing in my area, nor is it on Netflix.

psychiatrists are the ones who prescribe you drugs, psychologists work with behaviour and thought processes

Yes, the movie has a distributor, Fisher Klingenstein Films. After the movie opens in NYC on May 25th, it will open in Los Angeles on June 8th, and the distributor plans to release the film theatrically in theaters across the U.S., based on the great reviews and word-of-mouth on this unique film.
