Jesus, 30 seconds' worth of Google would have told you that AZ is a constitutional carry state. You don't need a permit to carry, concealed or not. Sure, the little town is fictitious, but you could at least do a little homework on the actual state laws.
shareYes, that's one of my pet peeves with movies and TV. Cops always asking "you got a permit for that?" when referring to rifles, shotguns, and handguns carried openly. A couple of the big cities may have requirements for a handgun license, but the vast majority of the country has no such requirement.

If the town is fictitious, how do you know it's in the same reality as ours? Laws differ in different dinensions.
