Why? Very little fake drama and just enough comedy to keep it fun.
The best part is Ed. He actully goes through the car and show the viewer how to fix things and replace things.
Most other shows will say we got to rebuild the engine and then go on to fake drama tanget about some some dumb worker or the owners new haircut.
For the most part wheeler dealers fix REAL cars for real people not $200,000 toys.
I love this show as well but I still need to watch The Grand Tour show on Amazon with the crew from Top Gear

I also agree on your resons, they have no need for bs, no garage drama, no telenovela bickering, and they show real stuff and intruiging how it's made/fixed explaining, for pros and profanes alike.
Also,they are nice fellas, not abrasive nor clowinsh like top gear, and they talk about real deals, not unreachable dreams.
It s just super watchable for everyone!
