A Mirror Image Earth

This movie really makes me think of the joke about the guy who believed there was another planet in the solar system which was an exact mirror image of the Earth. Now when I say exact mirror image, I mean precisely that, with the same people, places, fauna, flora, the same historical time line and current events. In fact so strongly did he believe in this other Earth, that he eventually built his own spaceship to travel to it. History records that he and his spaceship made it precisely half way to the sister planet before crashing into himself traveling from the other direction.

Thats the only thing what can happen if there was a Mirror Earth with the same people. If things on one side be different just a bit some where in time everything would be different and no way there would be the same people on each planet.

They would not hit each other. With both planets moving around the sun the approach vectors would have to be very different. There is no reason to assume they would hit each other somewhere just because they launch at the same instant.

Fringe throught of this too, but the earth was actually another universe with the same people. Nothing is out of the question, anything is possible. There are many unknowns since we haven't yet made it out of the milky way to discover other galaxies.
