What would happen if these abortion clinic's all closed?

You have to go back to the days when the only way to get an abortion was to find a "butcher", yes a butcher, who was probably a failed med school student or a bad doctor who lost his license to pratice. They did illegal abortions in country homes, the back of a general store or some other seedy place. The woman would most likely leave with blood pouring out of the vagina , go home, suffer with horrible cramps for hours and go through 2 or 3 boxes of kotex napkins. Then if she was lucky to recover without bleeding to death, she faced a future of maybe not being able to have children when she wanted one. I do not like abortion as a personal choice if a woman was having my child, but neither do I want a return to the days of 50 years ago. Make no mistake, if abortion was not legal,we would go back to those days.

sounds scary...do you think

A. That the woman would receive adequate medical care in the jail or prison she would be residing for "x" amount of years?

B. Do you think she would be getting pregnant in an all female prison?

If guns were not invented, beheadings would still occur, and if beheadings would be deemed illegal, crucifixion would still be the standard for murder. What's the point. A nice, medical procedure for murder. I'll tell the future hitmen of the world to be nice and clean with their next kills.

You miss the point: if abortion clinics all closed that would mean Roe V. Wade was overturned so all abortion would be illegal and there is no way you could get one in prison. If Roe is ever overturned, the butchers will be back in buisness.

I live in a country where all kind of abortion are illegal.
This is the legacy of a right wing military dictatorship.

I was lucky enough to have a mother who cared and smart enough to took my pills seriously. But it's not like that for everyone. Ignorance is the rule.
Some women still go to clandestine abortion clinics, with no cleaning warranties, no safety, most of them ended up bleeding to death on ER and after that they are sent to jail! Some of them even with an hysterectomy.

But most young women now took some gastric pills to cause an abortion.
The terrible thing is when a victim of rape, like a pre-teen constantly abused, got pregnant. Or a woman who really wants to have a baby realises that her baby it's not gonna survive due to medical conditions, incompatible with human life. Nobody, no one helps them. It's like no one even cares.
Sometimes I hate this bloody country so much.
