Have many people actually seen this series?

It was so good, particularly the first two seasons but whenever I bring it up outside of my friend group, nobody has heard of it. What a shame, I felt like this was a pretty popular show with a big cult following.

LOVE this show.

I first heard of it years ago at a social thing. I was complaining about the promise of the premise of Heroes and how that show never lived up to itself. A friend mentioned this show and I went home and found it on Netflix. I couldn't stop watching it. I literally stayed up all night binging season 1, which was all Netflix had at the time. Of course, I didn't realise there were more seasons, so I just thought the show ended with the final shot of the first season. I thought this was mad, but brilliant.

Once the other seasons came up on Netflix, I binged them FAST.

Of course, after the seasons 1-3 arc, Misfits kinda shot its own foot off. Season four was a pill, and while five was *better* and had some great moments (Sexy Barman Alex needing to literally hump the Devil out of another character was...exactly the right level of f---ed up) it never came close to touching one, two, or three.

Sounds like me! As soon as I found it I couldn’t stop watching. The bar an humping the Devil out of another character sounds so funny! I didn’t hate season three or anything it just didn’t keep my interest after Nathan left even though I liked the other characters too. I’m just surprised that more people haven’t heard of it because it seems like such a culturally impactful show.

Yeah, it isn't really well-known. Or, at least, in the circles I travel in it doesn't seem to get the clout it deserves. I do basically try to sell people on it wherever I go.

It's not even as popular as it should be within the genre. So, fans of sci-fi/fantasy/comic book/superhero stuff often don't even know about it.

Keep spreading the word, though.

Yeah, there's some funny and exciting stuff in season five, but even so, it never recovers the lofty heights of 1, 2, and 3. And season four is a slog.

I watched a few years after it ended. Was fun until the cast started to change, just didn't like any of the new people.

I liked Rudy just fine, but when season four rolls around and they change over EVERYBODY it barely feels like the same show. They're all still concerned with the storm and stuff, and I guess they all would be, but it just felt like more of the same.

I thought it they were going to shift the cast anyway they should have set it somewhere other than the young offenders stuff. They might have used the bar as a cool hub, or maybe followed Curtis as he tried to reclaim his athletics life and branch out from there instead of relying on the ASBO thing.
