any other songs substituted for American release?

I was nearly ready to buy the region 1 first season of this show to repleace the rips of the UK broadcasts that someone gave me...but then I happened across some comments that original songs used in a couple of episode fro season 1 were substituted. I hate when they do this; the cheap-ass studios have pulled this same crap with other TV shows, too (Happy Days, Crime Story, WKRP, i'm sure there are many more!).

I can't find any mentions, though, of whether or not this same treatment was done for season 2 and subsequent seasons of Misfits...does anyone have any information for these?

btw, have you heard that Shout!Factory is doing a _complete_ "WKRP" DVD set -- all four seasons -- which they're advertising as featuring as much of the original music as they can get rights to? Due next month, I think.

Yeah i did hear about that. They managed to get the rights for about 95% of the original source songs, but couldn't afford a few of them (Pink Floyd a notable omission).

Now if Shout! would work on putting the original songs into Michael Mann's CRIME STORY series....
