Am I going insane?? (S3 Spoilers)

Okay, so I'm rewatching Misfits right now, having first binged the first 3 seasons on DVD back in 2012. I remembered one of my favourite moments was the season 3 finale when Simon realises this is when he needs to go back in time. What really sold it for me was hearing "Video Games" by Lana Del Rey playing and it just working PERFECTLY with the story.

Since then, Video Games has been a staple on all of my playlists and I would always remember the scene of Alisha dying, Simon gearing up to go back in time and Kelly referring to the whole thing as "dead romantic" whenever I heard it.

So, I just rewatched that episode on Netflix today, and the whole time, I was waiting for the song to play and it never did. I've googled it and haven't been able to find any details to suggest this is right

This may seem like an overreaction, but I'm so certain this was the first time I ever heard the song, which makes sense because it was never that big in Australia - where I live - and I have never listened to radio enough. So, if I didn't hear it here, I have no idea where else it could have been.

At the very least, I'm going insane just by obsessing so much over this, but can anyone else confirm if there's another version of the episode where there was alternate music or something??

Yeah, i'm not getting where you heard that song. Maybe you heard it right after seeing that episode for the first time and connected it to Misfits. I know the score of Simon going back in time has always been an original composition. And a good yet sad one at that.

Looking at wiki that song was featured in Ringer and 666 Park Avenue around 2012 if you watched either of those shows.

Yes, it is played in the American version. I originally watched them on Hulu which are the original British version. Then I streamed from Amazon which is the American version and many of the songs are different. It has something to do with copyright laws when released in different countries.
