I'm assuming I'm the only one who really likes...

...Miller. :D

But honestly, without Miller there would be a lack of humor. In addition, his character gives the show a special touch. I think 'Gravity' has a unique style and it's too easy to complain about the 'cheap' look and certain characters. I would not consider me as a true fan of the show, but after 8 quiet entertaining episodes, I'm still wondering where that show will go. And I mean that in a positive way, because each episode managed to approach a special way of drama mixed with grotesque humor. And therefore, Miller suits perfectly in.

Miller definitely adds another layer to the show. What if he starts killing all of Lily's fellow suicidal group members?

I think this series is OK. Eccentric and kind of different. =D

reply

i think the show would be much better without miller, his character seems thrown in just to appease eric schaeffer , they should just focus on the group

laughs are cheap, I'm going for gasps

I hate every minute he is on the series. It started fine, but now is absolutely annoying.

He made the mistake of considering himself the center of the series, and I hate all his moments in the toilet.

reply

Agreed.

He's a below-average actor with a TERRIBLE screen presence, and his ego is destroying the show.

I don't get that point with Eric Schaeffer being a narcissist. If he would be, he'd certainly play not such a weirdo shoving things up his ass. ;-)

Plus, he plays a major part right from the beginning of the show, so how can he DESTROY the show with his presenence, when he's an essential part right from the scratch?

But okay, not everybody has to like this show, but this Schaeffer-bashing doesn't make sense to me.

Eric Schaeffer must be OBSESSED with his ass. I don't think I've seen him in any role where he (or someone else) wasn't shoving something up his ass.
I hate Miller, but seeing as Eric is one of the show's creators, looks like we're stuck with him.

reply

Miller is hilarious! I didn't like him in the first episode but he's just so messed up and his timing is great.

reply

Love the cast, hate the show.

reply

I always liked Miller and thought that Schaefer's performance was so damned quirky and interesting.

You must be his mom.

I love all the characters, including Miller, and love the show. I don't see how people don't love it, but to each his/her own. I am very sad that the show was cancelled. It drives me up a wall when intelligent, well-written shows are cancelled for lack of viewership when the network never advertises about it. I get Starz and I only came across it by chance.

I will Eric S. would release a readable script(s) that would allow the story for me to read so I don't have to be left with a unanswered cliffhanger. That sucks. :(

Yeah, I think ES brought the show to a whole new level of awesome. His performance in If Lucy Fell was one of the main things that got me to watch it. I would've wanted to see it because of all the other great actors, but as soon as I heard he was in it and that it was his show, I watched it right away.
