Leg decapitation?!!

Just wondering about the qualifications imdb has for posting in the Parental Guide section. It seems that there are more children, intermediate level English learners and shut-ins posting in that section.

In the past, those ridiculous posts could be revised and corrected. But editing is now blocked.

Some people posting seem to have nothing else to spend their time on but writing every detail of the movies, and they don't stick to the title or don't know what sex and nudity mean. Under Sex and nudity, they'll list the most innocent kiss, hand-holding and hugging, barechested men, cleavage, bare legs (even for movies that have a beach or pool scene!), bare shoulders, etc. If it's a shower or bath scene with no more skin showing than from above the breast up, they think it's needs to be mentioned. If a person is wrapped in a towel or is under bedding with nothing below the shoulders visible, they have it listed. To find if there is any scene that might not be appropriate for children, you have to read through these unnecessary waste of space.

How about imdb putting down some ground rules for people that don't have common sense when it comes to what constitutes sex and nudity? Can you imagine how long their posts would be if they commented on a televised walk through a mall, or the Olympics? In the real world, Victoria Secrets ads and commercials and lots of other lingerie and swimsuit ads are shown on TV, in stores, and posters and billboards. And most of the world watches the Olympics and other sports, like boxing (barechested men). Make IMDB great again! Discourage idiocracy.
