Otto was the only refreshing character...

First, you have to recognize this as a typical syfy type movie that you don't take to literally or seriously...

I just loved how Otto pointed out he's believe a meth lab exploded before a banshee story. Too often people call the police like "hey I think there's a zombie in my yard!" and get laughed at.

Also, he figured out the banshee couldn't kill you if you didn't scream and tried to warn everyone.

I love smart characters in scary movies.
