Bored to death

The film is boring, boring, boring. Absolutely nothing happens in 70 minutes, just shots of the Andes, shots of a sheperd and shots of the tortured guys crying for help. You have around 20 minutos of some action, but that's all. I suppose they wanted to make an art house movie. They failed.

On the other hand, congratulations to the cinematographer, the only redeeming feature.

I've only watched the first half of this movie, and so far I must agree with amtico...it does seem rather pointless so far, and the cinematography *is* beautiful. One real problem with it so far is that it hardly has any dialogue. It seems as if it's leading up to something, but I'm having a hard time believing that the conclusion will be worth the wait.

Off topic: I posted the only other message about this film on the board ("Was the goat really slaughtered?"). If anyone has any input on this, I'd like to hear it. This scene really bothered me, and I'd like to know that what I think isn't true.
