Did the screenwriter( who’s also the director) took the easy road and created an ending which is too safe and at the same time prepares the ground for the inevitable sequel?

It felt a little like that to me…

As long as they let Kyle Gallner we run with it. He is such an incredible Underrated actor. He was excellent in Dinner in America and Cleansing Hour, his 2 sec cameo in Scream 2022, and pretty much the only reason to watch the NOES remake. I would love for him to be the main in next one and they set that up.

Have to agree. I wasn’t too familiar with him but I see now the guy’s going places.

What is NOES, anyway? There seems to be nothing under that name in his filmography

I thought its going supernatural ruined what could have been a good film.

This movie was destined to have a part two. To have her go nuts and have everything be fake and all in her head would eliminate the possibility of a sequel. Which the producers are not going to do.
