2/10. Here's why:

I really truly for absolute positive agree that the title character in JUDY MOODY AND THE NOT BUMMER SUMMER is a bad role model for children (and that her AUNT OPAL should be arrested for her terrible job at taking care of kids), but that doesn't mean the filming style is also wrong. There's a lot of movement and bright colours, but that also happens in animated classics. Not to mention that it gives the movie good pacing, which it needs because there's never anything actually interesting on screen. Although, I didn't like the soundtrack. Trust me: Visual styles like this aren't what contribute to children misbehavour. A little girl who yells everything (because apparently she injects herself with sugar insuline every morning) is. I don't think Jordana Beatty deserves 10 thrill points for her performance, but it's still very good. Heather Graham gets no points. No, not 0 points; no points at all, because she doesn't do anything worth mentioning (good nor bad). In fact, her character is pretty irrelevant to the plot. FRANK says that the thrill points are what actually ruin the fun, because JUDY is just too damn competitive... and he's right! AUNT OPAL knows it, based on how she reacts when JUDY tells her what he said. I was expecting JUDY to realize it by the end, but she kept on adding those damn numbers. This huge contradiction with a bad message attached to it ruined what otherwise would've been a passable movie. So ZEKE was BIGFOOT all along. Ummm... Why? Seriously, can someone explain it to me? And what does MR. TODD have to do with him?
