Doing a comedy about Latinas with lesbian storylines is commendable because we know that's a tough, conservative, catholic audience. But I wonder who this film is really for. I think most lesbians will completely hate this movie because the women are kind of ridiculous and are more male fantasies of what they wish lesbians were.
shareNo they're not, not really. I am a bisexual woman and I had no problem with the two lesbian characters. It was exagerated with every character not just the non-straight ones. It was a high jinx comedy. But as far as the lesbian storyline it was surprisingly non-offensive and actually sweet and positive.
Plus men wish lesbians were into men, so all the lesbian/bi women ending up with other women wouldn't be their fantasy lol. It infact turned that idea on it's head because you'd expect them to have all ran back to men once they returned, and they didn't.
