I'm with you, I'm hoping for an Emmy nomination at least for Winona, maybe Barry and definitely for the whole production. Incredibly well done, very touching in parts without being maudlin or overly sentimental.
shareI thought this movie was really very good. I thought the costuming was fantastic. The acting was all good. The character of Bill Wilson was very convincing and scary, way to go Barry Pepper.
shareHonestly, probably a film I would not have watched had it not been for Winona's involvement. I think the world of her and want to see her get the magnificent admiration she deserves. So I just finished watching thanks to the DVR (sorry commercials...). A good film, Winona an outstanding performance. Yes, I hope she's nominated for many awards, she deserves it.
shareWinona and Barry were outstanding in this Hallmark Hall of Fame movie. ---- Hallmark stores have the movie on DVD, but my nearby store didn't get the movie yet, so I had the store reserve a copy for me when they do get it. ----- The DVD has a couple of extras, a "making of featurette", interviews and a wide screen version of the movie. ----- An Emmy for Winona for her role as Lois Wilson
