THE LAST BASTIAN OF UNCENSORED COMEDY TELEVISION!! thank you showtime!!!

i just discovered this show on Comcast On Demand...watched all 4 episodes back to back....HILARIOUS. finally, a no holds barred comedy "talk" show. Hope it sticks around. not much of a buzz on this show......haven't really seen any advertisements/marketing......I hope enough people are watching for them to continue making this show. there are certainly more than enough comedians out there for this show to go on for quite some time.....

best episode so far in my opinion: Rosanne, Bob Saget, Patrice O'neal episode.

Paul Mooney almost ruined his episode, Rain Pryor, Jim Jeffries, & Bobby Slayton. All his racist talk really was uncalled for. He certainly has issues.

reply

You're right. Thank goodness for Jim Jeffries. Slayton was funny, but only seemed to add to the tension. When Jeffries quipped, Mooney couldn't help but laugh.

reply

yeah, jeffries is great. i dont know why they had "rayne" on the show... she's not a comedian....she added nothing to the show.

reply

Couldn't agree more about Rayne. She was booooooooooring. The few jokes she told seemed rehearsed.

reply

For a comedian Mooney sure can't take a joke. The first episode seemed to have the most relaxed and social atmosphere so far.

reply

loved the show.... the mooney episode was classic, because of the english guy, i'm watching the penn one right now, some real good stuff,

reply

ungerreese, I agree completely with your comment. The show's about comedy, for crying out loud. Paul Mooney should have left his issues at the door.

Did anyone else feel that Tommy Smothers came across as a grouchy old man because he simply could not forgive Penn Gilette for appearing with Glenn Beck?

For me, the funniest anecdote so far has been Robert Klein relating his experience with Rodney Dangerfield while boating in the middle of a huge storm. "Yeah, yeah, sure, just gimme de keys!"

The first episode and the one with Tommy Chong were the best, by far, imo. Maybe they should have had Tommy Chong host it.
