I think they've forgotten that Captain Hero has super powers.

I know his character has changed, and he's become increasingly more... unknown.... for better or worse. But I still think his super powers should come into play sometime. Otherwise he's just another crazy character.

For instance, when they were all trapped in the carriage underwater. I just kept thinking, why the hell doesn't CH just bust through that s***? I think they even showed him beating on the side of it with the rest of the cast. Instead they just came up with the completely random idea of making Ling-Ling a float.

I mean, I know this show isn't big on plot points, but comon. Use the characters you've got to the fullest. I like CH's weird-ass ways, but I also don't like that they've pretty much used that as an excuse to forget that he's supposed to be a parody of super heroes.

I agree, but I think the writers were aware of this and intentionally had CH not use his powers. Kinda dumb but funny.

but he was also like that sometimes in the show.

Well the truth about Captain Hero is that more often then not he seems to forget that he's.... well a superhero. Hell in the first episode he says flat out "Save yourselves!" before running away. Also he lost his powers by falling off a horse and they've been touch and go ever since.

But hell it's just funny to have a superhero that only cares about getting mouth-raped by a corpse

I basically agree, but I gotta say I had this problem all the time in the show too. There were so many situations, where Captain Hero could have resolved everything, by just flying etc. So by the time I saw the movie, I was used to this.

I think the joke was to show how stupid and useless Captain Hero really is.
Like when they are going to cut Clara's arms and they say DO Something captain Hero (Implying to use his powers) but he just grabs the dead girl and looks away.

Also when the pumpkin was sinking they made him to look more scared and pathetic than the other ones. They obviously did this on purpose.

But the show was that way all the time,

right....
