what part did marconi play?
what part in the plot did marconi play? I only recall seeing him in the scene where he ************spoiler************* gets shot
shareWerner wanted to cover up the murder of Meyer by making it look like a burglary gone wrong. He asked Marconi to find or hire a safecracker to break into Meyer's office. That was Sartet. I guess the plan was for Werner's men to interrupt the burglary and shoot Sartet. Then they would pin the murder of Meyer on the dead safecracker.
Apparently Marconi was in on the plot all along. When Sartet escaped in the opening scene, Marconi stuck by Sartet's brother, and kept feeding information to Werner about Sartet's whereabouts.
