I liked it but i know where director was going to end it.

The director was going to have him wake up and that sativa gave him a vision that helped him get over his loss. Which happened but not how he wanted it to as it ended before he woke up. Once he woke up he would make friendly with the man who spoke inachian, and teach him how to drive if he taught him how to read the old language. That he would take his friends more seriously and appreciate them. That the next part in his life is waiting on that battlefield and her protector also needed a friend. I dont really know but its what i would do. :)
