I wasn't sure what to expect when I watched this movie, but I gave it a try because it had Brendan Fraser and I love him in...well, everything. I was not disappointed. This isn't an *amazing* movie and it won't win any Oscars, but it was fun. I liked it because there were quite a few twists and you didn't know what was going to happen before it happened. Also the comedy was refreshing and funny. I liked it.

I agree. Interesting characters, decent performances from the cast, good pacing. All in all, a very competent film. It even has a little twist near end which is unusually anticlimactic while still being funny. I'm a little more generous in giving it a 7.5, though. While it may not be an Oscar contender, it's better than a lot of other movies that have been.
shareI have not watched it yet, but I was shocked to see this is from Terry George who is an Oscar Nominated Director for Hotel Rowanda and he did the really good Reservation Road as well. Amazing he does movies like that, then this. Now I might try watching it.
