When I first read about this movie, I thought it sounded like it would be interesting and great fun. I have never seen two actors promoting a film and standing in the same shot, not do the usual arm around the shoulders/waist bit, or at least stand touching each other. Especially if they are promoting a film where they are portrayed as being romantically involved. I guess I will wait for the video.

If you're in San Francisco though, and can put aside your worries about the apparent lack of real-life smooching (!), the film is showing as part of the Mostly British Film Festival on 22 Jan, 7pm, Vogue Theatre.

It's going under a different name though - Stand Off - but it's the same one http://mostlybritish.org/films/stand-off/

If you're in New Zealand it's showing next Thursday (17 Jan) in Tauranga's Rialto Cinemas. Tickets go on sale on Monday 14th (it's known as Whole Lotta Sole there though) http://www.rialtotauranga.co.nz/movies/7407.php

You're right though, it *is* great fun and I certainly recommend seeing it in a theatre if you get the chance.

I just hope that English subs are included ... The ones where we can understand cockney and Irish Brogue here in the States. That usually kills a lot of good films coming from that area. Holding up a fish shop? That sounds like Cockney involvement. :)
