this ws on during screamfest and i watched it with a couple of bff's
better than most of the other films...it was light on the horror but still had some great scares

And wasn't that fight stupid? Just so the end could be 'correct'.
I see it averaged 4.4. Which is about right. I gave it 4. I was feeling generous.

Sorry, but you got it all wrong. The call at the end, after the box was thrown into the water, was actually made by Ben. There was no prior relationshop between Marcus and Mary and they certainly weren't in complicity with Candy.
The makers probably just threw that phone call in to let us know that Ben and Mary are still an item (since the actress wasn't present in the last scene and some viewers may feel a lack of closure.. or something).
I agree, 8/10 seems right. I definitely enjoyed this more than I expected too.
I loved Ryan (Nathaniel Buzolic) and especially Marcus (Travis Fimmel) Great characters! I was so shocked Candy was the killer too, but she and Isabelle were great as well :)

I love this film too. I love watching revenge thrillers and voodoo subject I find intriguing. The story and the characters are great- top actors. I was shocked at who the killer was!
