what is to become of marys doll? does she have to protect it the rest of her life or was kandi the only one who could curse mary with marys doll since it was made with kandis blood? or does mary have to put it under glass and hope its never damaged forever?
share I am going to use the Vampiric logic on this one. (Such as when a "Master" Vampire dies .....then his "Newbie" Vamps would/ could be released from his vampiric spell & would/ could regain their humanity)
....& I'm don't want to delve into the technicalities RE: Baby Vamps needing not to have partaken in drinking human blood or taking a human life prior to their Master dying....to be able to regain their humanity)
My point is, since Kandi shuffled off this mortal coil....Then I'd assume that any prior spells cast by her (she's the original spellcaster), would now be null & void. Contract cancelled! So her dolls that she made, would now be just a plain ol' wax dolls. Not a Mary Doll or any other doll.
This explanation made the most sense to me because I thought about the blood used! It's all about blood. If the spellcaster dies, then it makes sense that any personal ties from the spellcaster to the dolls would've been permanently severed.
Why? The spellcaster's blood, along w/ melted wax + the target/ person's photo must be used to make the dolls. The useage of that spellcaster's blood seems like a very personal tie, in my opinion. It truely ties that spellcaster to the doll & spell. For this reason, I'd believe that the spell would be broken if the spellcaster died.
Now here's my what if......
You got me thinking....What if the spell wasn't broken. Wouldn't it suck to have to constantly worry about & continue to protect your personal Voodoo Doll for the rest of your life?
Think about it.....if you decide to put it in a strong & solid box, you might go blind, since the doll would be encased in darkness.
If placed in a glass box, as you suggested.... you might lose your hearing or senses (like touch, smell, etc)....that is, till the doll was removed.
Store it up on a high shelf, and the cleaning lady might dust & knock it down, snapping off your lower torso.
You really would be in a clinch with this pain in the butt thing!
The way I see it, once the photo is removed from the device, the target of that doll is invalid.
Do notice how all photos got 'burned' like the device 'marked' the picture target for the kill. So I am guessing that as long as the marked image is inside, the doll is connected to the person.
So basically, destroy the image and the doll is useless. New picture required.
