I've seen the first 6 episodes and they aren't that bad. Granted, the pilot was pretty weak, but for example 'Hometown Hero' (episode 5 or 6) was pretty funny with Mantis trying to get his ex-fiance back while Po has to pretend to be an incompetent sidekick.
I think the humor rapidly improves as each episode goes by, it's as if writers of the show had to get used to the humor and not make it forced.
FWIW, this is rated on par with the 1st movie, and better then the 2nd. Another 'issue' is that there are only 2100 votes for this as opposed to 200K and 126K votes for the first 2 movies respectively.
I do like the TV series thus far. Some episodes aren't great, others are good. Amongst the episodes that aren't that great and don't seem believable (even for a children's TV show), I learn to just brush it off.
The humor in the TV series is done well, and they do recapture that a good deal.
