Awful

Since That's So Raven ended back in 07, I barely watched Disney since. Since before the movie "Dadnapped" came out, I haven't watched Disney Channel at all.

This movie is just another example of the downfall of the Disney Channel. I have no idea what happened, but it's just not what it used to be. It's like a channel that once suited all ages now seems to only aim toward pre-teens and children. The quality of DCOMs have just dramatically decreased.

Look at the message board for this movie, for example. DCOMs used to have many discussions on here on the premiere date. I really don't know what happened, but I don't think DC will ever be what it used to be.

Oh yeah bceause a message board full of crybabys is a perfect example.I only heard good things about this movie, Kids loved it, and thats the only thing that matters.

this here is the only place full of "everything was better when i was little" crier.

You are even so blinded by nostalgia that you forget how awful the Nickelodeon one was.....

I don't think this was too bad, just unoriginal. The plots they added like Harriet being a rich private school girl and trying to be popular have all been done a million times before. Other than that, though, the acting was good and the dialogue was okay.

Read the book. Harriet goes to a girl's school and her family has a live-in nanny and cook. That element was always there.

Um, actually just a few months ago I saw the original on ABC family or something and it was still a hell lot better than this movie. Also, I'm not being a "cry baby", and you've obviously completely missed the point of my post if you're going to mention how "kids loved it", and how they're the "only ones that matter". That's completely parallel to my point: that little kids are the only ones that matter now, and older audiences are now being ignored.

omg so what? that doesn't mean that older teenagers and young adults have to be left out.

Watch it if you want, who cares, but their target audience isn't us. It's the young people. So yeah, sorry, but they don't really care about what a 19-year-old has to say about Hannah Montana or whatever the hell.

If you don't want to complain about a company ignoring your age group's input, try watching something MEANT for your age group.

Thought of it as enjoyable, though the plot was mostly flat at best!!

No offense Jen but think 'bout what's ahead rather than dwell on what's left
behind,to be honest!!!

Disney did used to be for all ages. More for Kids-Teenagers. Now it's lame and dumbed down and censored and cheesy it's a shame. I feel bad for kids, they have sucky tv and movies too.

People used to be real.
