I am very confused what this sitcom has to do with the movie "Are We There Yet?" it has the same title I know, but I read it is supposed to be based on it. I saw a couple episodes of the show and even rented the movie to see if there was a resemblance,,, can't find one. The only thing I notice is Ice-Cube.

"Are We There Yet?" was followed up by "Are We Done Yet?" where they got married, she was pregnant and moved to their own house. I guess they did not tackle the third child issue in the television but basically, it's I guess about what you see.

Ice Cube is also the executive producer of this show and appears in about half the episodes as Terrence, Diane's dangerous brother, who's actually funnier than any of the regulars.
