I've seen commercials for it on TBS and it always boggled my mind. I tried looking this up on wikipedia, but all it says is that this is a show about a family trying to adjust to each other. Surely there's more to it than that..?
shareIt's just a generic family sitcom. There is no "twist" or "gimmick" or anything. It's like asking what Full House, Step by Step, Cosby Show, Growing Pains, and Boy Meets World are about. There's nothing more to it. They aren't superheroes by night and they don't solve mysteries.

It's a follow-up to the movie of the same name "Are We There Yet?" with Nia Long and Ice Cube. Perhaps you should find out when it comes on in your town and watch it so you would know for yourself. Seems like an easy way to solve your problem.
