Ms. Stout

I found that the mean orphanage headmistress, Ms. Stout, was right up there with Carol Burnett's and Kathy Bates' role of Miss Hannigan In both versions of "Annie", plus the two mean sisters in "Smoky Mountain Christmas" with Dolly Parton. I wonder why they alway choose women to play these parts in Christmas movies?
