I thought True Memoirs was ok, decently entertaining 90 minutes, but ultimately just passable entertainment.

My main gripe is that it just wasn't funny at all. I did not laugh once, did not even smirk, even though I think it was supposed to be an action comedy.

They didn't write in anything funny, and I thought Kevin James was on autopilot the whole time.

This should have and could have been a lot better than it was.

I thought the same about The Do-Over, not funny either.

Unfortunately Netflix does not have good track record with their original movies so far, unlike their series.

I wouldn't count this as a slap stick kinda funny but it was a good action movie with some funny moments as a fish out of water like a Jackie Chan type.
