???? And why

reply

Spy was a female version of Get Smart.

reply

Yeah but Spy was great, this will be pants.. as was Get Smart

reply

Most likely its going to be a "Paul Blart 3: Secret Agent"

reply

Don't know if we saw the same movie, Spy was aweful.

Saw half an hour of this, never laughed once, zero laugh, seems like everything netflix produces have an overriding sense of mediocricity, even though it had a playful way of rewinding and replaying the story it just wasn't funny, most comedies today aren't funny anyway, there is no good dialogue anymore.

Can someone tell if Kim Coates was any fun because otherwise I don't need to waste any more time on this.

I thought Get Smart was actually one of the more fun films of the last decade or so, didn't take itself too seriously, great cast, good jokes and decent action. What's not to like?

(I'm too young to have ever seen much of the original series here in the UK where it's not repeated so I have no nostalgia for it).

Spy was really good and entertaining movie, and I was actually shocked, a little tongue in cheek fun. I'm not a fan of Melissa McCartney movies. I always find them to be forced humor, like most of Adam Sandler movies. Set up, set up, set up and joke.

There are some similarities, obviously . . . I liked Spy more, but they're both really enjoyable films in my opinion.
