IF you liked Sandler-produced films...

I managed to see this Netflix original comedy starring Kevin James over the long Thanksgiving weekend, and this is pretty much what you would expect -- another in the long line of Sandler-esque comedies starring either James, David Spade or Adam Sandler himself. KJ plays a wannabe Ian Fleming who's digital novel, after a little mistaken identity situation, becomes a reality, and the hilarity ensues. I had heard AS had a 4-picture deal at Netflix, and thought this may have been one of them as a producer, but don't see his name anyplace on this.

I think Kevin James is back where he does his best work TBH, on a network sitcom -- "Kevin Can Wait", which is a pretty funny show; as I mentioned in a post earlier, pretty much "King of Queens, Part Deux"... LOL As for this movie, if you generally like his previous work, and the other works in the Sandler-produced long line of mediocre comedies, I think you'll like this.

This isn't a Sandler production.

I know, but meant it was similar, however, the title of my post suggested otherwise -- corrected, thank you.

I was surprised to find out this was a remake of a French film.
