Watched this on Saturday night and last night as well. Very endearing TV movie that I hope to watch every year from now on. And I like how Reggie Veljohnson played the owner of the toy shop. He played Carl on "Family Matters" (also known as "The Steve Urkel Show.") In a way the three boys remind me of Alvin & the Chipmunks. The chubby one who always eats is like Theodore, the one with the glasses is like Simon and the one with the blond hair is like Alvin. Plus they're orphans. And sometimes they all speak in unison, and the Chipmunks do as well.

I didn't get the chipmunk aspect. But their 'posse' type friendship really reminded me a LOT of characters in a serial I wrote. They were even all orphans too. But these kids had it easier. lol

Anyway, I liked this movie and hope they put it on DVD next year so I can get it.
