Why would you want to watch a man suffer and struggle for 2 hours?!

It's horrible, apparently this is based on a true story, and it's inspiring, but the guy physically, mentally and emotionally struggles for 2 hours (or however long this movie is) with no help from anyone. If you was able to sit and watch that all the way through, check your conscience and make sure that it isn't seared.

I somewhat agree, but I still loved the movie for the emotional impact it achieved. It was hard to watch but that's exactly the purpose. To put us through the same experience he had. It's not exactly a universally loved movie
