Academy - Take Note: Peter Graves Died - don't forget him

Here's an idea Academy, start making a list of dead celebrities NOW. You'll be less likely to have egg on your face again next year during In Memoriam.

and even Corey Heims as well. He died just a few days after the 82nd Academy Awards.

The last 2 years have been bad. If you can't see that, then you also probably can't see that it's even stupider and pettier to complain about the people who are complaining about In Memoriam than it is to complain about In Memoriam.

This isn't "My" thread. It's a public thread. However, I'd really appreciate it if you and your mental issues would not stalk me from thread to thread. The very fact that you are following me around shows what kind of a nut you are. I hope you get the help you need.

Note to Academy: Add Robert Culp to the 2011 list.

ha. you do make me giggle.
thankyou for making on topic points, however misguided. youre always welcome on my thread if you have something to say about the topic. as for the peter graves thing. meh. i guess its important in a way.
the oscars have become superfluous and lightweight. i do feel the memorial section serves a purpose, grounding the event and reminding everyone of cinemas history. sometimes sadly it also has an educating role, bringing people to the consciousness only after theyre gone. whilst its important not to have too many people on it, its perhaps more important to provide enough information on the lesser known stars it eulogises.
now ive said my piece on this one. have a nice weekend.
