Are the clowns reciting the lyrics to the Magnetic Fields' "Long-Forgotten Fairytale"?
Also, am I to understand that the little girl killed her mother and then nothing was ever made of it? She didn't go to an institution? The mother just disappeared off the face of the earth and no one noticed? Just saying...

I'm not sure about the lyrics. I thought that very odd indeed how they never show what happened with Rachel after she killed her mother. Are we to assume she went to an institution, and is only just getting out?
Why would the filmmaker not show that, or explain it??
