The EXACT steps to recruiting Loghain/making Alistair King?

Hi, thinking of playing this again, and I'd like to recruit Loghain and still have Alistair made king. I think I tried it once before but found out at the Landsmeet that whatever I had done was not enough (and it pisses one of to have to wait that long to realize that). I'm pretty sure I did the "hardened" option at the personal quest. But do I have to do something extra? be a dick to him every chance I get? make him watch horrors like killing that possessed child at Redcliffe? Make Bhelen King and possibly side with the werewolves?

I could be wrong here, but I don't think it's possible to have both of those. Alistair hates Loghain, so if you try to recruit him he'll leave for good.

He quits the team yeah, but there is a possibility to have him stay in Denerim and marry Anora, it's very difficult to pull of though

You need your coercion needs up to atleast 3 maybe 4. I have done it, but my coercion was 4. That is the only trick to do it.

That, and I'm guessing "the hardening" but good to know that about coercion. thx =)
