Maybe these are customs in America, but what I don't understand:

1) why does Ashley Judd gets presents BEFORE her wedding?
2) why has she brought these presents to her place of work?

I thought that hiding the money inside her wedding gifts was a bit far fetched, so...

Otherwise: entertaining and fast-paced movie!

Sometimes people send gifts before the wedding. It's most often done by people who won't make the wedding, but not only.

2) why has she brought these presents to her place of work?

I can only think she picked them up from the post office during her lunch? It's not an American custom to bring wedding gifts to work, as far as I know. But I've only been an American for 44 years. I don't know all the customs around the country. :)

She brought them because she was catching a flight from work for the wedding.
