Nice little film.

Kudos to the screenwriter for her deftness of touch; she understands the importance of 'show, don't tell'. The economical approach to dialogue, to scenes, suited the film. (And the setting was perfect.)

I do wish that some of the many issues at play had been explored just a little more. I think there were some opportunities lost.

And Lord, is Jessica Brown Findlay a huuuuuuuuge talent. I'd recently watched 'Winter's Tale' and was curious as to who this effervescent Brit was. Looking forward to seeing her on the screen more.

Agreed, nice little film amd with a very good cast. Jessica Brown Findlay was striking in the bigger showier part but I thought Felicity Jones was equally impressive - they both have beautifully expressive eyes. It seemed a little slow and predictable at the start but as often happens - you just get sucked.
