I just saw this film and man was it dark and gloomy. It was really good on all aspects and pretty on point with "the backwoods of West Virginia " whole set-up.
Rockwell (as usual) was really great as well as all the acting. How this has a 5.8 rating seems really far off. I know there's a lot of bad ratings both ways on films on here but that is just to low !!! I didn't really know about this film and I'm glad I stumbled onto it. It's excellent. Don't let the terrible rating keep you away !!!!

Those are just haters who know nothing about film. It's a well made film with none of the Hollywood BS you see in so many other movies in America. The Irony is that his name is Moon, and the movie Rockwell is most famous for is "Moon"!

Well it's John Moon, but I guess you could take it as irony from that film. Another great one that Rockwell has done. I don't get why he is so over looked for so many roles. He is really funny, and also is great in drama/thrillers as you see in this film clearly. He's diverse , and I don't know what people saw that I missed that made people rate it so low. It blows my mind on IMDb with these BS ratings. I've lost total confidence in the rating system on this site for the past couple of years. You would look at the rating and think it is not worth seeing when really it is so good.

The 5.8 rating is a bit too high for this awful film. A guy finds a bagful of money...that movie has been done a million times. A guy accidentally kills someone and has to cover his crime....that movie has also been done a million times. Put them together into one movie, and it just doesn't work.
