What movie were George and Lewis watching? (You know, the monster movie)

I think I want to see that, if it's real.

I'm here trying to find the same information. It looked like one of the Mimic films, but based on the poor quality I think it was something they threw together for the film.

D'oh!

It's a horror movie from the 1980s. You can tell by the complete lack of CGI in the film. In the 90s they used horrible CGI graphics compared to today's standards. I'd look up famous horror movies from the 80s.

I was also curious about that as well.

So did I!...I would swear it was Jessica there (sorry of the director's wink at is). This is a wonderful emotional (however not syrupy) film about love, parenthood, and passion (as in soccer, in this case). Beautiful Jessica Biel is a fine actres and you can feel her inner dichotomy, ì.e., she finds herself confronted with a major choice of life. Quaid and Thurman are ok, though a bit over acted, Zeta-Jones pulls it off, as usual. Judy Greer is wonderful. The music by Andrea Guerra is very, very good and unique. Muccino's direction is great, and differs from what an American director could have done here.

It looked like one of those cheaply and bad vintage horror films.
