Shouldn't have been overlooked

We already reviewed this on our youtube channel, so I won't go into a review here but even though this movie has it's flaws..... it is one of the more interesting movies I have ever seen. Hard to imagine a film so original would miss so many fans of a genre (sci fi) that has such a loyal following. Netflix found it, why didn't anybody else? If anything it's not a film you forget quickly. Anybody know of any other movies like this? I can think of one of the top of my head, it's a horror movie, not nearly as unknown but underrated, called Strangeland. It's on Netflix as well.
