People who liked this movie ??

I liked it quite abit. Greatest movie ever ? No. ( see Primer) But interesting especially for a movie on netflix instant? Like to here what you thought??

It was pretty good until the middle, when it stopped being a movie and descended into 20 minutes of talky exposition.

It was still pretty good for a no-budget indie movie though.

That was actually my favorite part because there was no bad acting going on like through out the rest of the film. (I enjoyed it all none the less 😝)

I agree... for a low budged film... it was good. The story (as radical) as it is... was interesting and it was engaging.

I was enjoying it, then, INFO DUMP and said INFO DUMP made no sense so I stopped liking it. If only the end of the film maintained the same momentum and tension-building as the beginning maybe it would have been great.

I would say I thoroughly enjoyed it, but that mid section of Ancient aliens type of thing threw me. So I liked all of it except for that bit. Its like an intermission. Time to go pee and grab a popcorn.

If I could do a directors cut, Id cut that down to about 5 mins and keep the tension going.

Interesting that the OP mentioned "Primer (2004)" because this movie remined me of it also. That's high praise btw, because Primer was ruling!

Anyhoo good indy effort. If anyone has a problem with this movie let's see them make a better one. These guys did a great job. This is the kind of project what shows what can happen when someone has a dream and brings it to life.

Another one I'd put in the same class as Lunopolis is "The Call of Cthulhu" (2005) which was made for only $50000, it's also on netflix if anyone is interested.

I don't know why everyone disliked that middle part. I thought it was pretty fitting in a movie that introduced a new theory regarding time travel to have a good 20 minute chunk dedicated to basically explaining it, and also the major players involved in the conspiracy, and how showing how they are viewed from 3rd parties.

I just thought it was pretty rad, combined time travel, aliens, moon colonies, and government conspiracy, so pretty much any way you throw those things in a bucket and mix them up, you're going to come out with something relevant to my interests.

Loved it. I just watched this on Netflix after it had been sitting in my que for quite some time. I think this was one of the best low budget movies I have ever seen.

I don't see what was so bad about the 'middle part', without that we would be left with a lot more questions about what happened. And besides, the ending made up for all of it

I agree. What little sense the plot had came from the exposition in the middle. Also, that part gave us David James, who turned out to be the best character in the movie. The actor who played that role - Dave Potter - has no other credits, but he was very effective.

I know, right?
Everybody's like "this movie is awesome! except for the middle part because you know... words. ugh" but there is *no* movie without the info in the middle part. Duh.

This is a pretty good movie considering the constraints (budget, etc). I really liked it. However, it's not in the same ballpark with Primer (a true classic).

Excellent movie. I didn't have high expectations when I started watching, but I was pleasantly surprised. It was well shot and acted. I liked the bit that explained the theory in more depth. Usually you have to rack your brain trying to figure out what they're talking about. This time they spelled it out for us.

It would've been cool if at the end they showed the "others" who were watching them. Even if it was just a fading shot.

Very well done, great story, concept, style.

The only knocks I have against it is the secondary character acting, like every time they encountered the lunology thugs, that was just really cheesy. The main actors were good because they just had to be themselves as documentarians, and the "experts " being interviewed did their job, even the guy playing Hilliard was ok, though some parts were bad. and the scene with the flying car should not have been included, but other than that, great putting it together in documentary style and excecution.
