Get over yourselves. Seriously. It was a great movie.

I just created an account here to let people know how great this movie is for a low budget film. People complain about the acting in the film, while only referring to the scenes that involve the obvious use of extras that may not have any acting experience whatsoever. What more do people want? And then people are trying to compare this film to Primer like as if they are on the same level? I mean, they are both good in their own right. At least this film attempts to relate the plot to the entirety of human history, which I feel is more plausible. The 'butterfly effect' is something that most theorists can say really may exist, and yet I got nothing of that from Primer, which had horrible actors for the main characters. At least the actors playing the main characters in this film attempt to pass as real people. Which would be the most logical thing to do if your not an actor to begin with.

In the end, I think that people with short attention spans will like Primer more. People who appreciate a complex story and plot will prefer Lunopolis. Even though its very blatantly mocks Scientology. And for petes sake people need to get off that trendy Primer bandwagon already. It really wasn't THAT great. People swear its a fcking genius film. Just stop.

Heh that's quite a typical imdb response. "People who disagree with me are stupid and people who agree with me are smarter"
I personally didn't really like Primer, or at least i didn't think it was all that it was made out to be by the fanboys but that doesn't make it a stupid simple movie. It's quite complex.
Lunopolis isn't really a complex story. It's quite a basic time travel story with a little conspiracy thrown in. It's a good story but it's not complex so much as convoluted. The story itself is pretty straightforward when it comes to time travel. It's just that they throw a lot of distractions in, like the Scientology parody and stuff like that, which makes it look complex.

Even though its very blatantly mocks Scientology.

why "even though"? That's my favorite part of the movie :P

Just saying I agree that people need to stop being such posers pretending a movie is the best ever just because they enjoyed it (or because they had to go online to read from other people explaining it to them because they didn't get it the first time but if you're doing the same with another movie, you're just basically... doing what they did.
