Season 1, Ep 1: Chris - what happened to?

I DVR this show, and watched a rerun they broadcast last week, and it happened to be the very first episode of this show. Does anyone remember it? It had the real nice-looking Navy vet named Chris, who lived in a townhome that was completely cluttered due to his shopping compulsion and hoarding. He had a girlfriend who freaked out when she saw his house. Does anyone know whatever happened to him? I remember watching it the first time around and feeling sorry for him.

*I* definitely remember him!  Yes, he was nice looking, kind of had that George Clooney salt-and-pepper hair going on.

I remember how his girlfriend reacted when she saw his house. I don't know any followup info on him, but I have a feeling their relationship didn't last. She was simply too blown away by his hoarding; she really reacted badly. I think she'd walk away before risking investing in the relationship further. Of course, I could be 100% wrong! Maybe they're living happily ever after now.

No I remember her posting on a social site. She was disgusted and embarrassed that she dated a man that lived like that. She did not want to remain friends much less something more.

Chris's episode was shown today. I never see this one in the syndication packages of the show over the years. I had to sit down and watch. One of the few houses where there was a hoard but his house wasn't filthy with dirt & vermin like a lot of the others.
