Interesting story that doesn't quite work

The story of a rootless soul (Angele) whose past emerges slowly when she meets a lonely soul (Tony). Having met, they don't gel. They work and live together when he decides to helps her out. They start to fall in love. They learn one another's stories.

The characters were rather impenetrable and a little bit more could have come from their mouths to make them easier to relate to. Nonetheless the decision to tell a story of the working class was commendable and the ending went a long way to redeeming the film.

It was rather perturbing to find that Clotilde Hesme reminded me of Keira Knightley throughout!
