I don't catch every episode but was shocked at Mariah's appearance tonight. She has lost an incredible amount of weight and she looks pale and gaunt. Did they say in an episode if she was getting chemo or something? Very distressing to see.

shareI've been wondering this too. The older daughter's husband Perry is an ex-junkie (heroin). He credited her with helping him get/stay clean, but it looks like the opposite to me, like they are both using. And Mariah now too. We do have a heroin epidemic in this country right now. I hope they're not. These girls are YOUNG, they should not look like this.

shareFirst of all calling someone a junkie isn't nice!You don't know the situation!I'm a recovering addict &they wouldn't be able to run a rescue being on drugs! Have you ever been to New Orleans?Its so hot & humid you sweat walking down the street in the spring &summer time.And if you think about what they do everyday you will understand why they are skinny! They constantly are walking dogs & cleaning up after them not to mention they each have at least 4 personal dogs & its a never ending job some days! I seriously doubt Mariah or Tania are on drugs & if they are are then instead of judging them maybe try being encouraging & supportive! And if its something they want to address they will but I don't blame them for keeping most of their private lives private because of judgmental people like you!
shareI can assure you that Tania is not doing drugs never was that’s why her husband Perry recognizes her as saving him. Mariah never touched Heroin she drinks on occasion and smokes weed that’s it. She left her husband partially because he used. Ppl shouldn’t pass judgment and make assumptions they are just always tired and under a Ton of stress.
shareSeems like Mariah is trying hard to ugly herself up. I saw a picture of her hanging from hooks in her legs and a video on YouTube of her swinging and spinning from hooks in her back. Body suspension it's called. I definitely don't get it, nor do I want to.
