Am I the only one who thinks these clowns have no personality?

So my wife and I love Ghost Hunters and various other paranormal shows. We were excited for this. That said only a few shows in and we both have gotten to the point where we feel they choose people who have no personalities at all. All the rookie hunters are balnd and seem like they have no real interest in being there. If they really had "thousands" of people to choose from then how did they end up with these people? I'm sorry but at this point we could care less who stays, who goes and who wins. I wouldn't want to watch any of these clowns on Ghost Hunters. My wife and I can't be the only people that feel this way right? These people are boring and I wouldn't want to spend five minutes with them let alone a whole night of ghost hunting!

I have to laugh that these are supposedly the best they could find. The reality is probably that these are the best 'fit' as picked by the shows producers for a pre-determined group designed to appeal to the widest demographic to increase ratings. ie, we need X number of girls, one california boy, one whitebread midwesterner, etc.

The problem is, such 'manufactured' groups rarely 'work' the way the original groups they are designed to duplicate do. Its hard to manfuacture a group like 'taps' that already has a sense of team identity and make it work.

I am with you- I feel myself feeling embarrased for these people- they have no idea what they are doing, no personalities, and it's just lame- I hate it! My only solice is that Steve is on it :)

This show sucks. Kill it quickly and bring Dave & Steve back to GH. This was a dumb premise of a show to start with.
