A better outcome than picking one of the final 3, I think, would have been to take Eric, Adam, and Michell, and then go recall Vera and maybe Brett, and just make them their own new team. Call them Ghost Hunters 2.0, and then they could have new episodes every week of the year across all 3 teams.

I wouldnt call it watering down the show... as much as I would call it 'getting more likable people'. I realized while watching them do their thing that I'd rather watch them than the regular GH team.
