This fascinating movie is now running in NY

Come see see this incredible documentary in Cinema Village this week. The run has been extended from last week due to the popular demand. Remember - no art history degree is required - this movie is story of the person, portret of epoch - distant and the current one.

Cinematographicaly the movie is very well researched, never seen material from Russia's Krasnogorsk film archives is used. Quite unusual but completely on the point is the citation from cult Russian movie "White Sun of the Desert" (1970)

Even the editing of this movie is done more in line with Russian film-making tradition - which makes viewer to be much more emotionaly involved then your standard History channel movie.

Come see the movie, order it on Netflix. Shorter version (54 min) will be shown on PBS on April 5, 2011.
